Lots and Lots of Chickens

We are up to 53 chickens now - 48 hens and 5 roosters.  A wide variety all raised from chicks on our farm.  You can't imagine all the different kinds we have!  The younger ones are starting to lay - and we will soon have FRESH eggs for sale at $4/dozen.  Our chickens are free range during the day (up at night to keep them save).

We've got Chickens _ Round 1!!!

We got 15 baby chicks on September 24th!  All females - Barred Rock, Golden Buff, White Rock, Blue Andalusian and Rhode Island Red.  A good variety - we should eggs soon!
